Baby being fed with baby food

Weaning

At some point, the time will come when you wish to wean your baby from the breast.

Often the signal to do so comes by itself as your baby begins to show increasing interest in the food which the grown ups are eating by pointing to and grabbing at your plate. That is completely normal, as from the 7th month your baby needs considerably more energy and nutrients for his/her development.

However, do not allow anyone to force you into weaning completely. You and your baby have your own speed and your own needs.

But how do you go about weaning your baby? And which baby food should the baby have when?

You can read up on everything here:

In the interests of you and your child, you should go about weaning gently and carefully. ...

To “Baby food”
