Folio® with vitamin D3

Up to 90 % of vitamin D3 is produced by sun exposure of the skin. That is why it is also referred to as the “sunshine vitamin”. As it plays an important role in ensuring the proper course of a pregnancy as well as in the development of the baby, we have expanded our Folio®-Family: All Folio® products are now available with and without vitamin D3.

Why folic acid?

A good supply of micronutrients is essential for the optimum development of your baby.

Folic acid plays a highly important role here, as this B vitamin is responsible for cell division and cell growth processes  from the start! You should therefore ensure that you have an adequate supply of folic acid even prior to conceiving.

Iodine for your child

The mineral iodine is indispensable in ensuring the function of the vital thyroid hormones. These hormones control the growth and mental development of your child.
As the iodine requirement of your body increases considerably during pregnancy, you should ensure a targeted supply of this mineral.
